Arrival Story:
There is a wonderful shelter in Sterling, Mass that brings unwanted hound puppies up from down south. Stella was brought up from Virginia with her two brothers. They were adopted the first day, but, luckily for us, she wasn't available until the second day because she had to be spayed. She ran over to me, flipped on her back for a belly rub, and it was done. She was the one.

Bio:
She is the sweetest, smartest, mellowest, most trusting creature I have ever known...With an incredibly active hound-nose. It leads her into all sorts of trouble. She ate a sewing needle once that got lodged in her throat, and most recently she got into rusty old fencing in the dunes. Much drama and expense later, she is healing well. She's a very dramatic lady.
