Arrival Story:
I found Cassie on I fell in love with her picture. She looked so much like my Happy! Her description sounded like she'd be the perfect companion for Happy and addition to our family. I contacted the Small Breed Rescue of East Tennessee and after several instances of winter weather, our home check was finally completed and Cassie came to live with us! She and Happy get along great. Cassie is the silliest and cuddliest dog I've ever seen!

Cassie is around 2 yrs. old. She was at the rescue for a little over a year. She had been found wondering in a convenience store parking lot. She must have been on her own at a very young age. Now she's cuddled and spoiled rotten!!

The past couple of days have been sooooo stressful! The bunnies are closing in on us. Mom is not taking my warnings about them very seriously. I know they are preparing to ambush us. If mom would just let me at them, I’d show them a thing or two! They wouldn’t be taking over MY yard anymore!!! I got really close to one today then Happy had to start yapping and scared it away. Grrrrr….one day I’ll get those bunnies.

Ok, why are humans so obsessed with us going potty on THEIR command??? How can I be expected to worry about poop when there are BUNNIES in the yard?!?!?! I'm trying to sneak up on the bunnies and just as I'm about to take off after them....I hear "c'mon Cassie it's after midnight, go potty". POTTY?!?!?! Are you kidding? I don't know what I have to do to satisfy these people. I mean, I left a perfectly nice poop by their bed this morning and now they want ANOTHER one!!! Grrrrr....I have bunnies to chase.

Oh the trauma!!!

Mom went insane Friday night!!! She said we had to get ready for Bark in the Park and that I needed a trim so I wouldn't get too hot. Oh the stress!!!!! She USED THE CLIPPERS!! Evil little contraption!! They attacked me for almost 10 whole minutes!!!! GRRRRR....THEN SHE MADE ME TAKE A BATH!!!! Finally it was all over, it felt like forever. Then came the good part....the treat and the brushing. I looooooove the brushing! It's so nice, I fell asleep. It's a nice way to recover from the agony of grooming.
