Arrival Story:
Max's story begins the saga of 'The Wrong Dog". I Spotted Max's brothers at the local shelter that I occasionally visit on my lunch break and immediately called my Hubby. The 2 brothers were the most perfect Basset Hounds I had ever seen. They serenaded me with throaty yodels but their other Brother in a separate cage chose to ignore everybody. He looked comatose! And besides he didn't even look like a Basset with his long legs. The litter was described as Beagle/Basset mix. When I arrived home that evening, I was greeted by this odd looking, skinny, long-legged dog. My Hubby was so excited about adopting the dog that I told him about earlier. I hardly had the heart to tell him that this was "The Wrong Dog"!! Well, this wrong dog turned out to be Mom's favorite. Max was definitely my Baby.

Bio:
Unfortunately after a valliant effort, Max lost his battle with Cushings Disease. I will never forget his devotion, love and loyalty.
