Arrival Story:
He was a stray that got stuck in someones yard after a bad rainstorm. I agreed to take him and try to find him a home, but wound up getting really attached and keeping him myself.

Bio:
Louie's full name is Luis Felip Ramon Cortez del Barrio. He is the sweetest, most gentle dog I've ever met. He was about a year old when he came to live with me, and became a wonderful friend to my elderly beagle, Buster. Though he's never lived with any as far as I know, Louie absolutely adores little kids. He was hired for a Christmas party one year to play "Max" from the Grinch (I was Cindy-Lou Who) and had the time of his life eating his weight in holiday cookies and letting kids climb all over him. He's a very calm and sensitive boy who loves everyone he meets. These days his old napping buddy Buster is no longer around and poor Louie finds himself at the mercy of one persistent little Jack Russell who wants to PLAY! almost as much as Louie wants to SLEEP. I can't feel too bad for him, though - it's not like he can't use the exercise...
