Arrival Story:
My husband and I wanted a GSD. We had to wait until we could put a fence in our backyard. We really wanted a rescue GSD. We applied for one, but we were denied because that dog needed to have another dog in the household.
A friend at work told me about a GSD at www.fultonanimalservices.com. I looked her up online. She was perfect. I convinced my husband that we should go see her. He thought she might be too old. We wanted a younger dog to introduce to out cats.
We went and saw her on a Saturday and picked her up on Tuesday November 2.
She's doing great in her new home and getting along with her cat brothers
Bio:
Fasha is a sweet dog with a lot of puppy in her. She is very protective of her family. She loves to play ball and tug-o-war. We have to be careful not to wear her out, now that summer is here.
When we first brought Fasha home from the pound. I thought "Oh my god what have I done". The first 2 weeks were a big adjustment on everyone. She improves everyday and has turned into my best friend.
She's also my personal trainer, we have to walk everyday. Now I don't just walk for my own benefit. I'm also walking for her health and sanity.

Tonight Dad filled up my giant water bowl. Oh that's right Mom calls it a "pool". If I got in the pool Mom would throw the ball. You know it was a nice way to stay cool while playing ball. I might try it again...maybe.
I got to watch my favorite show tonight. Dog the bountyhunter on A&E. It's the best!

This year has been great! My mom got laid off from "work" and got to stay home with me everyday! We have been having the best time. We walk everyday, I get lots of brushing and mom has been teaching me fun tricks. She also so types on the typing thing alot and talks on the talking thing alot. I always get excited when she talks on the talky machine, because I think she's talking to me! But I digress.
The best days are when Mom and Dad both are home all day.
Well, today they BOTH went to "work". But don't worry, they BOTH came home. Then we played ball and went for a long walk.
Well I had a lot of work to do myself, I was very busy. I had to guard the yard all day. I barked at everyone that walked by. I also had to chase the squirrels out of my trees, those guys are relentless.
Mom bought me a BIG water bowl. She calls it a "pool". She tried to get me to stand in it! I eventually got in it, just so she'd throw the ball.
I'm getting sleepy....must nap...big day tomorrow
