Bio:
Two days after Lafayette's death and four days after Sebastian's, Balthazar passed away, too. The vet called me up this morning, July 8, 2005, that he passed away. He was confined since the day Lafayette died.
We sent him to the vet along with his siblings because we fear that maybe they're infected with Distemper too, like Lafayette. Balthazar and Achilles had to be confined while the female puppies were sent home. The latter was discharged the next day, July 7, the same day Ichiban was admitted because she was feeling... a bit different.
During his stay there, the vet told us that Balthazar refused to eat. July 6, his kidney was still normal. Come July 7, the doctor said that it's already infected. It was that fast. They called us up as soon as they found symptoms of Leptospirosis and unfortunately for us, he died because of that disease. It must be hard for them to tell us the bad news since we already lost two four days before Balthazar's death.
