Arrival Story:
We fell in love with Quagmire after seeing him at the Sonoma County Animal Regulation. We arrived just before closing and he was one of the few dogs that were awake. He saw us coming, sat up, put his paw on the cage door and we were hooked. The only problem was his name. The shelter had named him "Teddy," which was deemed "too cute." After hours and hours of negotiations, we came up with Quagmire...which we quickly discovered was the perfect name for our muddy mess of a dog.
Bio:
Quagmire was left at the pound after his previous family moved. He had been an outside only dog, was un-neutered and had no name (they called him dog). He shows us every day that he knows he won the doggie lottery and now has a very special home.
