Arrival Story:
I had seen a Ridgeback a few months before and then some friends and I went water sking and they took their dogs with us for the weekend. Sandi was concieved that week end so they gave me pick of the litter. She became the most assured, self confident and toughest dog I ever knew. She went with me everywhere. If Sandi wasn't welcome we did'nt go. I could leave my van with the windows down, the keys in the ignition and not worry. I could leave the doors open and know she would not leave for any reason. She would greet any and all with a friendly grin or if they were hostile she would handle that also. I never had to worry about what she would do because she was in complete control. She was my bud and I still miss her.
