Quick Bio:

Birthday:
January 27th 2003

Likes:
Playing chase with his Sheltie sisters. He runs through the house like a mad man! He also likes to poke me with his freezing cold nose!

Pet-Peeves:
Meeting new people. Going to new places. (The combination of the two sets off a panic attack). He also hates doing his rehab exercises.

Favorite Toy:
Anything that squeaks (loudly). He also loves his Buster Cube.

Favorite Food:
Loves all foods (and grass & weeds...)

Favorite Walk:
Trails near house. He gets treats for reorienting to me, so it's fun.

Best Tricks:
When in doubt, throw your paw out there. He also "talks" when it's mealtime (it's the Collie in him).

Arrival Story:
Minnesota Sheltie Rescue needed a long-term foster home for him due to his health issues. My dogs took to him right away, so he never left. We found out we needed each other.

Bio:
Shiloh was unsocialized after ending up in a pet store for four months. We are committed to his rehabilitation.

The Dreaded CONE!

One of my cysts is open, and it's not healing very well (mostly because I can't leave it alone), so I've been wearing the dreaded cone for 3 weeks now! The good thing about it is that I now have power, because Kandi and Zumbrota run the other way when they see me coming toward them with this thing on. Mom says I'm kind of a Houdini, because even with the cone, or the Bite-Not collar, I can still twist my body around.

New vet

Mom took me to a new vet because I have some cysts that keep growing in size and number. I was very, very nervous and scared. This vet does cool things like contact reflex analysis to see how my body is working, and emotional freedom technique to help me get through my fears. The doc said I'm one sick pup, but with some supplements that are just right for me, hopefully I'll soon be feeling better and have more energy.

I've been pretty crabby to our most recent houseguest, foster Sheltie Lance, maybe because I'm not feeling well. Now I'm starting to try and get him to play, but he doesn't know how.

Back to School

Mom signed me up for school again. I don't know why-I try to be a good listener! Even though I'm really scared to be away from home, I did really well in class. I saw my Sheltie friend, Dustin, there, and that made me feel a little better. And then my "cousin", Nina, a Shiba Inu, came to class too. We learned to used the clicker, which is super simple for me, 'cuz I already know how to do that, and I know sit already too. Mom was so happy for me that I didn't look like I was terrified (like I sometimes do when I'm away from home)! I bet there will be more for me to learn when we come back to class next week.
