Arrival Story:
We were very lucky to get Daisy. She was the runt of her litter and the breeder didn't want to sell her so she offered her up for free to the family that could provide the best case as to why they should become her parents. We were the last family to apply and were chosen to become her parents. We don't remember what life was like before the little munchkin came to live with us.

My name is Daisy and I am a pug. I’m also a princess, so I get whatever I want. My parents say I am the worlds most spoiled dog, but I’m sure they are just saying that. I am the only child, four legged and otherwise. Recently the vet had the nerve to tell me I was a bit chubby. My parents freaked out and put me on a stupid diet. Bye bye cookies, bye bye French fries, now all I eat are carrots and kibble. Life isn’t all bad, I do get to nibble on the occasional table scrap now and again. I especially love it when there is leftover filet mignon! I also have food allergies which is why I only eat carrots for snacks. I’ve been told that the money spent on treating my chronic ear infections would have paid for more new shoes than I can destroy in a week. I’m also very bossy. I can’t figure out why my parents can’t understand that I must be fed a treat or a meal every hour on the hour. I also like snuggling underneath the blankets, especially when I'm wet from a bath. Here’s a secret: If the human’s don’t understand what you want, smack them in the head with your paw. Works every time. I have a cousin, but I don’t particularly care for him. He says he’s a pug too, but he’s awfully big and really smells so I’m not so sure. His name is Montague (or Monty for short) which so does not fit his personality. He’s 30 pounds, he stinks really bad, and he’s not very graceful. Plus he pees on my Dad’s plants, which drives him crazy. I love bath time. The warm water feels so good and I love being massaged by Mom’s fingernails. The best part is the carrot I get when I’m all finished!

I just spent the last two weeks with my grandparents becuase my parents went to Hawaii. I had a really nice time, my grandparents are very nice to me. They spoil me rotten. I managed to trick them into thinking I get walks everyday. (hee hee) They don't let me sleep with them though, they say I'm too loud. I am glad to be home. I missed my parents alot. I missed cuddling with my mom and getting to sleep on their nice soft bed at night.

Get this, my Mom leaves for work one morning and when she comes home she brings with her that cretin Bubba. I'm told Bubba is my cousin, but I seriously doubt any dog that smelly could be part of my gene pool. Apparently Bubba's family is in Europe for a month so he is going to live with us until they get back. Lucky me.

Thank goodness it's Friday. I love the weekends. Mom and Dad are both home and have endless time to hang out with me. I love to play games with them. My favorite game is the one where I ask them to feed me breakfast as soon as the sun comes up. They don't seem to get the object of this game though. The last time I wanted to play I ended up in my crate instead. I think they need a bit more instruction on the rules.
