Arrival Story:
I sort of found Maggie.... almost 3yrs ago I was out w/ a friend and we came across a sign that said ''Free Puppies..." and I got the idea that my then boyfriend needed a dog since he lived alone...and plus I had been telling him that I was going to get him one bc at that time where I was living I wasn't allowed to have dogs, so I thought it would b a good way for me to get a dog as well. We walked up to this house filled with dogs and all were black/white...tri colored beagles, cute but nothing struck my eye until I saw this scared little tan puppie locked in a bird cage and I asked them what was wrong w/ her, the owners said that she kept ''running away'' and that they had to keep her in that very small cage to keep her from getting hit by a car.... I felt sooo bad and knew that I had to take her, plus she's all tan and I have always wanted a light colored dog. I took her to Michael's and he was very suprised and happy that I got him a dog. He's out of the picture now, but she's not. Anyone can look at Maggie and say that she's a happy dog, she's always very excited and pretty hyper to see people.

Bio:
Maggie got her name in a very cute way.... after I got her I kept her the first night w/o telling my ex bf about her and I had told my friend Holly I wanted to name her Maggie... I have always loved that name, but I couldn't give him a dog and name her since it was his gift....so I didn't tell him what my idea was for her name.....then I gave her to him..and kept asking him what he wanted to name her, he had decided on Maggie w/o even knowing that it was my idea! I told him that was also the name I liked...so of course that had to be hername. As for her nic name..."maggie beast''..... I was watching this cartoon called "Maggie and the froutious beast" w/ my lil brother and I had Maggie w/ me and until that day she hadn't barked or madee any sort of ''dog'' noises (scared...she was 2 young when I took her) ....but as soon as that show came on... she barked and went nuts at the TV, I called her Maggie Beast for some reason, it just came out....and now its her nic name I use all the time.... haha "Maggie Beast"
