Lil Man is learning to walk on a leash and isn't fond of it AT ALL! He is VERY apprehensive about steps especially!
Arrival Story:
Like his brother Wilson, I bought Cheddar to keep my 9 year old dachshund, Benson, company since he lost his 2 year old brother, Louie, in Nov. 2003. All "the boys" get along great!
Bio:
Cheddar was a rescue dog from petfinders. He was only 4 months old when I brought him home but some damage had already been done by the previous owners and I believe rescue person. The previous owners were a couple with a newborn baby. Dah, what were they thinking? Cheddar obviously didn't get any attention, was chased and grabbed at and given absolutely no love whatsoever. I've been working on that with him and he's much better, he doesn't run when I try to pet him, or when I call him,etc. But he still eats up every bit of attention you give him. I tell him all the time that he is now in a good home with a mother to take great care of him and 2 great brothers!
