Duchess loves to sleep on her back against the couch with her legs up in the air, belly & chin rubs, walks, car rides, playing tug with her rope, sleeping & snoring is what she does best, cold weather, snow, running & looking out the window.

Pet-Peeves:
She HATES getting her ears cleaned. Duchess doesn't like loud noises either like vacuums, the garbage truck, loud airplanes/helicopters and fireworks. She doesn't like hot weather and not being the center of EVERYONE'S attention!

Favorite Toy:
Duchess has many toys, she especially likes her rope toys.

Favorite Food:
Rawhides, Frosty Paws Doggie Ice Cream, Pup-peroni treats and ice cubes.

Favorite Walk:
She loves to run in the field by our house.

Best Tricks:
She knows the words "walk", "wanna go", "ears", "who's there" and "good-bye". When she hears "walk" or "wanna go?", she goes to the closet where we keep her leash. When she hears "ears", she runs and tries to hide.

Arrival Story:
My mom actually got her for herself. She saw how much I loved her and how attached I was to her, that she gave her to me.

Bio:
Duchess has one brown eye and one blue eye. Although she has perfect sight in both eyes, most breeders would consider this a defect. Her family and friends say that this makes her even more special and unique. She is very friendly and playful with other animals as well as people. (She just does not realize her own size and strength.) When we first got her, she was nervous around other dogs and would run from them. Now, she looks forward to seeing other dogs when we go for walks. She will drag you to them if you don't move fast enough for her! Duchess loves to sit and stare out the windows. She also snores a lot. When she dreams, she lets out these small, little barks while her whole body twitches. Duchess MUST sniff and smell EVERYTHING (especially if you have gone food shopping)! Duchess does not like being left alone. Ms. Duchess is definitely a superstar and she knows it! She gets so much attention during her walks. In March 2007, an MRI showed a small, slow growing tumor under her brain. She had radiation treatment in June 2007. She handled the radiation extremely well. We hope and pray that it was sucessful. I just wanted to take the time to thank all my pup pals for the thoughtful WOOFday wishes and prezzies! I had a lovely day despite it raining all day. My human worked from home so she can spend it with me and I had some Frosty Paws ice cream as my WOOFday treat. So far, being 6 yrs old ain't bad!

Hi pups!

I just turned 5 today and I feel blessed. I have so many things to be thankful for. I have a wonderful family; a fairly new cat sister and dog sister.

My health has been great. It has been over a year since my radiation treatment and I'm doing fine.

I have wonderful furiends here on Dogster. I just want to thank you all for always wishing me well. I love and appreciate every single one of you.

Gotta go, mommy is going to giving me some Frosty Paws! YUMMY!!!!

Hi Pups!

Today is 7/21 and I am officially a 4 year old now! I am so excited and grateful for so many things....

Well, first of all, I just completed my radiation treatment and my radiation burns are healing really well and I'm feeling great! So I am definitely thankful for that as well as to all my furiends who have been praying for me! Thanks furiends! Hugs and kisses to you all!!!!

And secondly, mommy is taking me to the doggie park this weekend. I love the doggie park! And I love to meet new pups!

Last (but certainly not least), I sniffed mommy's grocery bags and smelled a box of Frosty Paws ice cream! I just know I am getting ice cream for my Woofday!

I am such a happy pup right now! Happy Woofday to ME!!! :o)
