 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: May 28th 2000
Likes: Long walks in the park, playing hunt the treat, eating, counter surfing

Pet-Peeves: Being left alone

Favorite Toy: Anything

Favorite Food: Anything he can get down his neck, he generally doesn't taste things just inhales them.

Favorite Walk: Shipley Country park, anywhere he can walk for a long time, meet other dogs who will play and chase him.

Best Tricks: gaining attention by limping round on three legs. Does a very good dying swan.

Arrival Story: His previous owner was no longer bothered about him. I drove across to Leeds to collect him and brought him back to our home. He suffers very badly with separation anxiety and managed to break a house cage (bent it all out of shape and escaped) the frst night he was with us so pretty traumatic for all. He was painfully thin to the extent that his skin sagged in between his ribs, you could see all of his ribs and most of the bones in his spine. He actually had human bags under his eys so was a sorry sight.

Bio: He has been with us for just over a week and is doing well. He has slowly started to gain weight and the bags under his eyes have all but disappeared. He is still worried where his next meal is coming from so tends to fight with Eric if there is food around but they are kept separate at meal times. He absolutley loves his walks and thoroughly enjoys playing although this is a skill he is having to learn as I don' t think anyone has taken the time to do much with him and he is pretty clueless at the moment when it comes to playing. I think with a lot of love and understanding he will be a very rewarding dog. He has a very sweet nature and is eager to please and at the end of the day he has won my heart regardless. Xx Unfortunately Storm is no longer with us, having come from such a terrible background he formed a very strong attachment to me and unfortunately became aggressive to anyone else that came near. Having children to consider I had to make the difficult decision of having him put to sleep as he would have been impossible to re-home, because his seperation anxiety was really quite severe and he cannot be left even for five minutes without hurting himself and causing damage to anything and everything. He is very sorely missed and it broke my heart to do so but sometimes it is the kindest thing. He was very mentally damaged and it can't have been pleasant for him to exist in such a state of high anxiety all the time. I had tried all the things reccomended for seperation anxiety to no avail and had even medicated him through the vet once as I really had to leave him for a couple of hours and when I came back it took me three days to bring him back down off the ceiling! I felt such a traitor and it makes me mad that people treat animals sop poorly. I am still involved in rescue and will be now for good these are beautiful animals and it is heart breaking that so many are discarded like old rubbish!
