She Can Still Fly

Teddy has always loved to catch Frisbee's. At about turning a year of age she learned to catch as I learned to throw, it was a work in progress and over time we got better and better. One draw back was Teddy went through Frisbee after Frisbee, her bite was way too hard on the traditional flying disks and we ended up getting the canvas type flippy flopper flying disks that are more durable and less damaging to her mouth.

Over the years we entered in a couple of local Frisbee competitions that our Humane Society sponsored and both times we got first place. No trophies to show for it but two large bags of premium dog food were our prize. We were very pleased and proud of our red girl.

Teddy is now 11 years of age and in the last photo you see above, you can see she still loves a good catch. That photo was taken 5-15-2007 by her Dad and though she has slowed down over the last year or so..... she can still fly. That's my girl.
