Taber the other cattle dog in our home who pesters Teddy in her ripe old age. Not getting her daily Frisbee fix.

Favorite Toy:
Frisbee or Flippy Flopper flying disk.

Favorite Food:
Homemade Peanut Butter Dog Cookies

Favorite Walk:
In the mountains.

Best Tricks:
All the usual stuff like, sit, shake paw, lay down, roll over. Weaves through your legs as you walk. Stand with your legs apart and she will spin around one of them. Tell her to "hand it to me" and she will pick up whatever has been droped and bring it.

Arrival Story:
Miss Theodora came to live with me at 12 wks of age. She came from working parents on a ranch in Moses Lake Washington. She was very independant when I got her and in many ways she still is.

Bio:
We love to go on family outings into the mountains and Teddy always goes with. She is rather adventurous and loves to swim. A real go getter, she goes all out in most everything she does. The Australian Cattle Dog is very athletic and agile and Teddy is no exception. She is an extremely good girl and is the best dog my family has ever owned. ! I mean how many dogs can pass up kitty rocca on a daily basis and sleep infront of a bowl of cat food and not touch it? She is extremely good with children and cats and puppies, horses and chickens, she rarely barks. My family and I are completely spoiled with her! Her one fault? Not the best watch dog in the world. Teddy loves people and I am not sure she would protect us if things came right down to it. I'd rather not find out...LOL.

She Can Still Fly

Teddy has always loved to catch Frisbee's. At about turning a year of age she learned to catch as I learned to throw, it was a work in progress and over time we got better and better. One draw back was Teddy went through Frisbee after Frisbee, her bite was way too hard on the traditional flying disks and we ended up getting the canvas type flippy flopper flying disks that are more durable and less damaging to her mouth.

Over the years we entered in a couple of local Frisbee competitions that our Humane Society sponsored and both times we got first place. No trophies to show for it but two large bags of premium dog food were our prize. We were very pleased and proud of our red girl.

Teddy is now 11 years of age and in the last photo you see above, you can see she still loves a good catch. That photo was taken 5-15-2007 by her Dad and though she has slowed down over the last year or so..... she can still fly. That's my girl.

Go Teddy Girl!!!! Go!!!!
