Arrival Story:
My friend and housemate adopted Bear, pre-named, from the Berkeley SPCA in August 2002. They told her his owners moved to Japan and could not take him. He became my buddy and I "fell for him" around the same time I fell for my human mate. Last year, we all moved to the Piedmont Avenue area in Oakland and started to hear the sordid tales of Bear's youth. Somewhere he has a sister we'd love to meet....
