Arrival Story:
I moved out on my own and bought a house. Had to have a dog. Wanted a collie because I grew up with them. When I went to pick her out, there were 2 females left. One of the girls took my purse from the ground and dragged it through the mud. I chose the other one!

Bio:
Marty is such a good girl. She listens to just about everything I say. When I say she "listens", I mean, she actually wants to know what I'm saying. She loves playing with her other collie sisters and their neighbors (Deegan, Colby and Jake). She loves kids. She runs around the yard with a bone hanging out of her mouth, wagging her tail, while the neighbor kids chase behind her. She is so gentle. She has never jumped on a little kid. Her and Colby were playing with a water bottle. Colby didn't like it because it was HIS water bottle. He got a little sassy with Marty and Marty gave the sass right back to him. When we got the two away from each other (and the bottle) Marty just whined at Colby as if to say "why did you make me get mad? I don't like getting mad." It was perfect! Marty is content to sit on the couch all day and watch TV with mama, or to go running around with other dogs. She's up for anything mama wants to do, no complaints!
