We found a picture of her on the internet stating she was available from the pound and that she would only be there for another few days, so we went to the pound the next morning. While in the kennel, she was very quiet and calm. After we had them take her out so we could spend some time in a meeting room with her, she immediatley jumped up on us and began giving kisses. That was it, we had to take her.

The trouble I get into

Training finally pays off

Well, something with the training finally clicked with me. Dad says that in the past few days I have done really well, so much so, that they are trusting me to rome the house now when they leave. Whenever dad walks me, I am right there on his leg and he doesn't even have to hold the leash anymore. I have also learned the sit stay and I don't move until dad calls me. The new command that I am learning this week is the down stay, but I already knew down. I just have to make sure I stay until I am released. I still need some work with mom, seeing as how I still like to do my own thing when I am with her, but I am getting it. Tuesday night we trained at the park with the trainer and he brought along 1 of the tugs that they use to start dogs in protection training. Mom and dad didn't think I would go for it, but they underestimated me. I wanted the tug and I got a hold of it several times, but I have to learn how to bark and keep a hold of the tug at the same time so I don't lose it. Well, it is time for my walk with mom. Hopefully, i will do good for her, i like the treats and all the loving that i get when we get back when i am good.

I borke the doors

Well last night I broke the doors. I had just come in from outside and started to run back to the bedroom when I heard the doors open again. Daddy was letting Stripe out and I desided to chase her. Well daddy shut the doors and I before I realized it I rammed right through them completely taking them off their tracks. As soon as I realized what happened, I went about my way chasing Stripe. Mom and Dad must have thought it was pretty funny because they got the camera out and started taking pictures. Maybe next time they won't try to shut me in.
