Arrival Story:
From day one I knew that I wanted a Pomeranian. My parents were never too hot on the idea, but once I was old enough and secured a job, I started to call around for reputable breeders. I reached one who sounded very knowledgeable, but unfortunately she only had one pom puppy left. Something told me that I should go anyway and take a look at the puppy. So I hopped into my car and drove for over an hour and a half to the boonies. When I arrived at the horse farm, I was greeted by the breeder who had P-Chan in her arms. It was LOVE at first sight :) P-Chan was the cutest, most docile creature I had ever laid my eyes on. After holding him for less than a minute, I decided that I would make him my companion. Since that day, P-Chan and I have been inseparable :) I feel so lucky to have the little guy in my life! My mother's initial reaction was shock and horror! Haha...but now she LOVES him to death and is constantly telling EVERYONE P-Chan stories. I have no idea how my family is going to deal once I move out and take P-Chan with me. Everyone loves him so much!

Bio:
P-Chan is the sweetest dog I could've EVER asked for. He adores humans but is wary of other dogs as a result of a traumatic incident at the tender age of 10 weeks. A female miniature pinscher attacked him (luckily she was unable to break any skin or cause any other physical damage), leaving him terrified of any contact with dogs, no matter how friendly they are. I am constantly on the lookout for a sweet tempered, docile dog to go on playdates with him. He's been on a couple with a really goofy dachshund, and I was elated to see P-Chan initiate play! Hopefully he'll be able to regain his trust for other canines. Despite his phobia of dogs and his tiny size (he's 7.5 pounds!), P-Chan has the heart of a lion. Whenever he hears an unfamiliar voice in the house, he is always the first to rush to my side and growl to ensure my safety. Whenever there are any sudden noises or suspicious activity, he is always the first to investigate. Aside from myself, P-Chan is totally ga-ga for my boyfriend (his daddy ;)) P-Chan always looks forward to his visits, and even knows what his car looks like!!!! As soon as he sees my bf's car pull up, P-Chan will immediately stiffen up on top of the sofa and start wagging like mad. He will then proceed to make really cute squeaking noises, which then progresses into anxious whines and gentle barks. He'll then hop off and on to the sofa again, gesturing to me with his head to go open the front door :) Once I let the bf in, P-Chan will literally pounce on him and lick him like crazy. Hehehe...he sure does know how to make a person feel welcome!

Mommy's been reading up a lot on doggie nutrition lately and was appalled at how some of the treats that she had been giving me has BHA and BHT as preservatives. She threw them all in the garbage and I was very very happy cause that only means one thing...NEW TREATS!!!!

Mommy drove out to Petco and Trader Joes to get me some yummy goodies. I got Bark Bars (it was very tasty! I ate a whole mailman ^__^), a bag of assorted Mother Hubbard biscuits (ehhh...I dunno about those!), replenished my chicken breast supply, more trader joes jerky strips!!!, and some new bones! I'm such a spoiled boy.

Awwww bummer. So The sleepover didn't really work out. Instead, mommy and I stayed home, and daddy came over to visit the next day. I was still happy to see my papa though!

Daddy refreshed my lion cut! He and mommy took me out to the front yard and placed me on a chair. He then plugged in the clippers and gave me a nice shave on the front porch. Now I can stay cooler this summer ^___^ Yay!

Now that mommy is done with college, she has more time to stay home and spend quality fun time with me until she finds a full time job. This summer is going to be tons of fun!!! No more nights of waiting for my mommy to finish her school work to play with me :)

Woohoo!!

I'm so glad that mommy FINALLY set up this profile for me!! It's about time too! Anyway, even though I may be scared of other doggies, I really enjoy browsing through this site and reading up on all of you interesting guys and girls! Mom's been working hard to "re-socialize" me, so I will try my best to make real friends soon. In other news, I'm really REALLY excited because tomorrow is the Polish festival in a place called Baltimore. Mommy and daddy are gonna take me with them!! I'm looking forward to the yummy food!! Tonight mommy is bringing me with her to daddy's for a fun sleepover. I can't wait :)
