Leave a bone for Danny Boy

Danny Dorko, Dorkus, Clown Boy, Danny Bonebreaker, Crazy Horse

Doggie Dynamics:
not playfulvery playful

Quick Bio:

December 19th 2002

Herding sheep - which he doesn't get to do with us very often as we don't have them. But he's a classic (if a bit dorky) border collie all the way.

Not getting something his bud Chickie is getting. He's a jealous guy, he's just a jealous guy.

Favorite Toy:
Waffle ball or even better, Chickie's squeaky hedgehog.

Favorite Food:
Greenies! Chicken, Oranges???

Favorite Walk:
In The Woods (have to spell that I.T.W in front of him)

Best Tricks:
He can learn the name of any toy in about a day, then go get the "whatever" when asked.

Arrival Story:
My dog soul mate (Tucker) had recently died very suddenly and our Chickie was very very lonely. We knew she needed a friend so we were looking at rescued border collies. We saw Danny and decided (against our better judgment, too soon!) to go see him. He was pretty wild in rescue but we saw a spark of a sweetheart. He'd been hit by a car and both his front legs had been broken the year before. He was a little gimpy but we thought he'd be a good pal and playmate for Chickie. He came home a couple weeks later and tried to bowl her over playing. She's pretty reserved and shy but she gave him a very nasty evil grin which established who was who. He's a clown and still tries to bowl her over but even though he outweighs her by allot she can still (in the end) win out. Not sure who's alpha here really.
