Arrival Story: On Thanksgiving 2003, my 6 year old boxer Buster passed away. Upon returning to work Monday, my first email was from a co-worker with the subject "Holiday puppies for sale". I took one look at the photo and called to see them that evening. There were 9 in all and my Trier was the first to jump in my daughters lap. He has been jumping in my lap ever since. I couldn't ask for a better dog.
Bio: I am very protective of my Mommie and get very jealous when anyone hugs or dances with her. I love to climb in bed after Daddy leaves and it's just me and Mommie in the bed. Sometimes Daddy even takes my new brother Jeeter into the livingroom so he doesn't wake up Mommie and it's just Mommie and me for a while. Mommie's the best! Update, so Daddy has completly stopped trying to keep us off the bed. After he wakes up, he says, "Ok boys, get your Mommie" and we jump in the bed, snuggle for a while.
Likes: Rides in the car, trips to Nana's, a day at the Puppy Spa, Spending time with his Uncle Herbert, playing with the water hose, sneaking into bed with Mommy, chasing the flashlight beam
Pet-Peeves: Loud voices, big trucks on the highway, Mommy's blow dryer, the vaccum, brooms, not being allowed to chase the mean dogs across the street, human brother playing the drums, shadows on the floor
Favorite Toy: Sticks, Ribbit the frog and Moo cow - both make noises, Alli the alligator hand puppet, sticks and a ton of squeeky toys, sticks and balls, sticks, oh did I say sticks??
Favorite Food: Anything I am eating - Purina One Lamb with cottage cheese and yogurt. Of course pizza bones are a favorite and CHEESE PLEASE!! Frosty Paws. I can even eat off a fork!
Favorite Walk: At Nana's down by the lake, 1st morning walk with Mommy @ 6:30am 'cause breakfast is after that! Update 1/07 So, the first morning walk has turned into a run. Mommie started a new fitness routine and I go with her for her mile run.
Best Tricks: Can retrieve any toy by name - Ribbit, Moo cow, cool man, birdie, duckie, etc. New trick- stealth manuvers to sneek into bed without Daddy seeing me! Newest trick 1/07 trying to actually keep a toy to play with from my bully brother Jeeter.

I've Been On Dogster Since:
I write this today with a very, very heavy heart. My sweet boy needs to be re-homed due to his parents divorce and the terrible issues his mommy has faced in getting her life back to normal. I won't go into tedious detail of what transpired to get me to this point but just know that it is a typical battered woman/escape situation that has got us here.
Trier (sounds like tray) is almost 7 now, not altered and CKC registered. He has been with my mom for the last year but she is almost 70 and he is just too much for her to handle sometimes. He is good with other dogs if they are smaller and better with the ladies of any size of course. He has lived with cats and they are not a problem. He walks well on a leash but prefers to run/jog much more especially with his person. He is an inside dog, never having spent a day outside in his life. He is spoiled, does get on furniture if allowed and likes cottage cheese and yogurt in his food.
I am asking for a nice family to find it in their hearts to take him in and make him one of their own. Having owned many rotties in my life time, he is one of the most special dogs I have ever known. 6. I sit in Mommie's lab every morning when she has her first cup of coffee and I am very careful not to bump her cup

Hey there everydog - I have a question. What is Noah's Ark? It all started last Friday........out of nowhere this little puppy came wandering down our street and Daddy started yelling. The mean dogs across the street where chasing the little guy and Daddy went running out the front door. Then the little guy came up on our front deck and Daddy told him to stay there. So, Mommie gets home and he is still there. She talks to Daddy and they bring him inside. Pictures are taken, food is given and shortly there after a bath is ready. He's been here ever since but they keep talking to people on the phone about him - I know they are 'cause they say "Poor little guy, he's so sweet and cute". It's really quite silly if you ask me. Then, Sunday morning, Daddy's making coffee and he is telling someone outside the open kitchen window, "This isn't Noah's Ark, ya know?". Well, low and behold, he lets a kitten in the front door! She jumps up on the couch and just settles right down for a nap! Now they have a bag of cat food next to our dog food. What is going on???? Mom and Dad have lost their minds! So, someone tell me what Noah's Ark is before too long, I am beginning to get a bit nervous here.
