Pretending to ignore you when she'll looking at you out of the corners of her eyes.
We wanted a dog and decided to adopt from the Town Lake Animal Shelter. After numerous visits without luck, Honey Bee (Copper's first name) caught our attention. She had the most expressive face and unique personality.
Copper was 5 months old when she was adopted and was very much into a chewing stage. Many Beanie Babies died a painful death in the first year. The TV remote still bears scars. Nowadays, Copper chews any paper, pencils and pens she can get. I wonder if she was failed writer in a previous life.
Copper wants to get into show business. She thinks her charming good looks and endearing expressions make her a natural.
Lately, Copper has been emotionally traumatized -- we moved, got an alarm system that beeps and a new trash can with a lid that opens by itself. All of these changes have been hard on her. We're hoping she adjusts soon. Keep your fingers crossed.
