Arrival Story:
I adopted Max on the 28th of May, 2005 from Carolina Cockers rescue. He was an owner turn in to the pound before rescue stepped in. I had been looking to adopt a cocker and when I went to go look at the dogs there, Max pretty much picked us and we fell in love with him immediately.
Bio:
Max is about 7 years old to my knowledge. He was described as hyper, nervous, and bad with kids and other dogs. I haven't found any of that to be true though, he is wonderful. He is calm, sweet, and gets along okay with other dogs (he was with dozens at the rescue without a problem!) He was also good with the kids in his previous foster home, so I guess one man's trash is another man's treasure. I'm glad we adopted Max, he is a great boy.
