Arrival Story:
My father seen her wandering by some railroad tracks in Vermilion, her belly was swollen & toenails ground down, he told her to "stay" and that his daughter would be back to get her. An hour later Dad & I went back to look for her, we did not see her at first then Dad whistled, she came slowly out of the woods, literally crawled into the car & lay on the back floorboard. I took her immediately to the vet & the Dr. said she was on the run for a long while, she was six months old approx., all she had in her stomach was rabbit hair & bones & was also going through a false pregnancy. To this day, if you give her a squeaker toy, she will try to bury it. She was afraid to go up stairs or through doorways when we got her home. I feel she was abused & ran away but thank God she has been with me for 11 years now, she has been & is my "Angel".

Bio:
Angel is like a human, she watches TV, looks out the window when told , she will bury a bone if I tell her to & then dig it up when I say... the list goes on, also she is a super watchdog & very protective of my 10 week old daughter, she will sit next to "Allie" when anyone visits & just dare them to touch her!! Angel passed away 2-17-05. We burried her in the back apple orchard, she is sadly missed. She waited till Allie walked & then left us, we will remember her always.
