Arrival Story:
Her story began as a 2 month old puppy dropped off at the Palo Alto shelter by the police. At first she was a bit of a hellion, tearing up the ivy in the backyard and even chewing up a seat belt. The vet told us to return her to the shelter because she would probably be agressive to cats when she got older, being a herding dog and all. This turned out to be completely wrong..
Bio:
Java loves everyone who is old enough to throw a ball. When she sees strangers in the distance she usually thinks they're someone she knows. She also likes to play the growling game if you try to take her toy. If you take too long to give her a treat, she'll start running through her tricks on her own.
