Arrival Story:
I've been wanting another dog for a long time since Beth, my GSD/ Dobie mix, passed away a few years ago on Valentine's Day. Our friend told us that a breeder had a new litter of GSD puppies and I immediately said YES!! Zeus was so cute, sitting off in the shade by himself, looking at his other siblings with a look of puppy disdain "I'm just too good for that!" We took him and gave his sister Jewel a ride home back to the Bay Area. What a wonderful puppy. I can't wait to leave work everyday to come home and play with Zeus.

Bio:
Zeus had symptoms of bilateral hip dysplasia at 6 months. We opted for the bilateral TPO at 7 months and now Zeus is doing really well and ready to go out and play, play, play!! As is true with the GSD breed, a very loyal and protective dog. Great companion and a nice warm body to cuddle with in the wintertime. Although he's not a water dog, he enjoys our weekends out on the boat out of Half Moon Bay and even likes the seabreeze blowing up his nose and seaspray in his face.

Woe is the Pumpkin

Mom crammed me into this pumpkin costume this morning. Doesn't she have better things to do at 6am, like make me breakfast or toss the tennis ball a few times before she goes to work??

She picked out this "large" size costume at Target, but obviously "large" just barely fits me. She insisted on putting this "pumpkin stem" on my head. I tried to swing it off by violently shaking my head. I also did a whole lot of grumbling and whining, but to no avail. Alas, Dad came outside and held me down while Mom secured the pumpkin stem on my head. Then they took pictures and sent them to friends and family.

Does this costume make me look like the proud canine companion that my breed is known for?? Ack! Someone call the pound! Help!
