Birthday: November 28th 2003 Likes: Biscuit loves fetching and swimming (combination of the two is even better!) Hanging out with his best buddy, Jackson Brown, is great, too. Pet-Peeves: Being scolded. Ear cleanings. Baths. Being hugged too tightly (no lab squishee!!!) Lately, inflatable holiday lawn ornaments. Favorite Toy: Loves the chuck-it. Will harrass other owners at the dog park possessing them. ("You there! Throw the ball! Throw it I say!") Tennis balls. Cuz ball with little feet is good too. Favorite Food: He doesn't discriminate. Everything! (Mostly just dog food/treats). Favorite Walk: Anywhere! Especially if a car ride is included. But if he had to pick one... probably the hikes (with swimming included)! Best Tricks: The usual... sit, shake, lie down, roll over. Passing gas while chewing rawhide/playing with toys. (He sure can multi-task!) Most importantly, just being a very cute and very good dog. Arrival Story: Since he came here... we've all been so tired.... Bio: Biscuit enjoys eating and trips to the outside world (including the vet's office... he barges through the door). He also enjoys hanging out with his best buddy, Jackson Brown. They both get their crazy on when they see each other. =) He finds cats fascinating and would just love to get closer to one... if only they wouldn't dart away so quickly. He's good with children and plays with them very well. Forums Motto: Eat First... Ask Questions Later... We celebrated Biscuit's 3rd birthday a few weeks ago. We held a little PAWty at a local park with Biscuit's buddies Jackson Brown and Otto. There was carob flavored doggie cake and treats for the dogs and cupcakes for the people. Jack and Otto gave him some fantastic stuffed squeaky toys. He also received birthday wishes from his pup pals Fischer, Boscoe, Boady, Otto, BooBoo, Rocky, Bullseye, Drago and Duke. Too bad birthdays are only once a year!
As far as Biscuit was concerned, Thanksgiving couldn't have been better. We started off by going on a hike with Jackson Brown (see the handsome chocolate Lab in photo) in the morning! Biscuit and Jack swam and wrestled with each other a bit. Back at home, while the people were cooking, Biscuit napped and relaxed until dinner time. Dinner was canned food mixed with bits of chicken, sausage and some dry food. Biscuit polished it off in about 2 minutes. What a great way to start the holidays!
We took Biscuit on his first camping trip to Mammoth. Biscuit enjoyed himself very much. We went hiking every day and there was always water for him to wet those webbed feet of his in. He also had the good company of Tucker (see the sleepy yellow Lab in the photo) and Snoop (Golden). We're thinking of going again soon!!!
