Rain. She'll be ready to run outside and then 'slam on the brakes' at the sight of rain!

A stuffed gingerbread man shaped toy. Also a soft, stuffed ball. Sometimes mom's sock.

Favorite Food:
Skippy Premium strips, or whatever dad's snacking on.

Favorite Walk:
Walk? Anywhere! -wag, wag- Walk? Did you say walk?? -wag- Let's go!

Arrival Story:
My daughter wanted a dog so we bought Cricket from a local home breeder for my daughter's 16th birthday. Cricket bonded with mom, though! When my daughter went away to college for 4 years, our relationship was cemented. When my daughter was ready to move into her first apartment, she knew better than to even try to take Cricket. (Happy ending: she now has her own two dogs, Little Bear and Kasey.)

Bio:
Cricket passed away quietly in her sleep on July 18, 2006. She was almost 12 1/2 - that's in her late 80's in dog years, so she had a good, long life. We miss her soooo much, but it's good to know she didn't suffer. I like to think she's out playing in the sunshine in doggy heaven with her pal Pepper, our other departed pooch. (Gone since 1998.)
