I'm Poison Ivy....

The doctor visit

I love my Doctor he is the best. He loves to let me give him kisses and always says how pretty I am. I went to get my yearly check up and also to make an appointment for an xray of my hips. Mom noticed Ihad been limping after play and walks and when I run I do the bunny hop (I'm a puppy not a bunny). I endedup getting my xray's this time because Lisa our neighbor who works at the doctors office said she had time. They gave me morphine and that is all I remember. Mom said they had to carry me to the car because I couldn't walk I was on major goofy medicine so I got carried in the house and lay me on my bed, I didn't move for hours. My sister was fine with that since it gave her a nice break. They took pictures of my hips and now they say I have dysplsia that the ball joints are not properly in the sockets. I have to go and see a special doctor about it now to see what they have to say. Now mom says I can't go to the dog park anymore so I just get to play in the back yard with my sister and other friends who come over to see me. That's all for now.

June 29

I started my first day of puppy school yesterday, mom and dad took me, they got to go last week but I had to stay behinf they had to learn the rules last week. It was a ton of fun. I made a friend she is a mix like me, she's kind of furry and has short legs but has a black mask like I do. Her name is Zena we played and rolled around but after a while we had to stop and pay attention. I learned how to respond to my name and also sit which I knew how to do already but I have to work on not giving my paw every time I sit down. There were two big dogs there too, German Shepherds they were a lot bigger than Zena and I we didn't play with them since there wasn't much room to run around.

Oh I forgot to mention that I went to the dog park for the second time over the weekend. Most of the dogs are big but I can run around with them, I'm not even scared. One Boxer dog had his slobbery mouth around my neck, luckily mom was there and made him get off me. I think he was just showing dominance he wasn't hurting me. I went swimming too, there is a lake at the dog park and all the dogs swim it's fun. I had to go home and get a bath afterwards, I had sand in places I didn't know exsisted.

June 1st, day one of hurricane season....

Of course it's raining, it has been for two days...is this what all Florida summers are like? Waiting for the big storm! I couldn't go out todya and pooped twice on the floor, I think mommy was mad but I wouldn't go outside in the rain and since I'm so young I just poop in the house if I have to.
Hopefully the rain will stop so I can playin the yard with my sister tonight.
