Arrival Story:
Driving home late from work, I was exiting the freeway, she was about to wander onto it. After blocking traffic and creating quite a scene, she came up to me & jumped in my car. I took her home for the night. She had an expired rabies tag on so I researched the info for her owner. The tag ended up belonging to a woman 150+ miles away whose dog had died years ago. I put fliers up around the neighborhood, but no one called. A week or so later, I claimed her as mine!

Bio:
Although she's great with kids and very sweet natured, she isn't as kind to other dogs. We worked with a behaviorist who believes she came from an environment where she had to fight for food and attention amongst other dogs. With a lot of love and reassurance, we're slowly learning to play nicely with others. Our goal is to someday be allowed to run free in the dog park of Piedmont Park.
