cookies - pecan sandies to be exact; she also goes nuts for peanuts.
Favorite Walk:
along the river to the island, where I used to let her run free, until she chased the ducks into the river and down towards the next bridge.
Arrival Story:
I moved from SF to Indiana for graduate school at Notre Dame and one of the very first things I did was get Cleo. My landlord took me to the local Pet Refuge adopt a pet day, and though I thought I was looking for a german shepard - the dog I grew up with - I found Cleo. She was quite a talker and was so happy to meet me, I fell for her immediately. She had been abandoned some six weeks before by a family who may have abused her. Her original name was "Garcia," but her rescuer had re-named her Cleo.
Bio:
Cleo now lives with three cats: Nicos - aka big fat cat - who used to play with cleo; Alexi - an adopted stray who still isn't sure about the big dog; and Lance, who as a kitten liked to attack Cleo's tail - and sometimes still does.
