Arrival Story:
A friend asked me if I wanted to foster a Great Dane puppy that she knew about. Stupid me I fell for it. I got him mid May and he was supposed to be a purebred 6 mo Dane, but we have some doubts. I definitely think he's more like 4 mo and might have some lab in him. Although the older he gets the more he appears to be pure bred. I got him from another lady who had rescued him from life on a chain with little food and no attention. Lisa knew she couldn't take care of Quinten so she started looking for him a home. She was unable to spend much time with him herself or to afford basic medical care. Her and her family were able to provide him with a nice pen and love though unitl they suckered me in to taking him.

Bio:
Quinten was adopted by a family from Georgia. He now has a doggie brother named Kevin and several kitty siblings. He has tons of land to run on while taking his daily walk with his new parents. Quiten is spoiled rotten at their house and loves to lounge on the couch.

I have been at my new foster home for about a month now. I will forever be grateful to my first foster mom for rescuing me from life on the streets where I wasn't loved or taken care of properly. Mama Lisa was scared that I'd die at my first home. I was left on a chain and rarely fed, nor did I had any medical attention. She was also scared that I"d be stolen by scum or possibly be shot. So even though she didn't have the money or opportunity to take care of me properly she rescued me from that horrible 'home' I initally had. Mama Lisa made sure I had food and let me run in her yard, but I still needed more attention then she could give. I had no manners cause she wasn't able to spend time socializing me with other people or animals.
Thankfully Mama Lisa realized I needed to find a good home-foster or permanent and she found my newest mommy. My new mama has taken care of all my puppy shots and has even gotten me neutered so I'm all ready to find a forever home. She's also proving that all I needed to become a good dog was a little loving attention and discipline. I'm learning a lot with her-how to behave with people, dogs, cats, donkies, and new places. I love my new siblings especially Murphie and Cadbury. I just love to play with them although Murphie gets tired and sometimes I scare Cadbury with my big paws. Mama takes me to work a lot and has even taken me to the pet store and the creek a couple of times. I loved the water once I realized it couldn't hurt me and had a blast bouncing through the creek making noise and splashing everyone. I'm so thankful to be in my new home, but I can't wait until I find a forever home.
