Pet-Peeves: I hate it when I lose a toy under the couch and I can't reach it, I will cry till someone gets it for me
Favorite Toy: My favorite toys are my kong and any kind of ball. I also love to chew on sticks and pick up garbage I find on the side of the road(especailly Tim Horton's cups, I am a real Canadian, eh?)
Favorite Food: I love potoatoe peelings, bannas, apples, carrots, cheese and peanut butter
Favorite Walk: My favorite place is anywhere mom wants to take me
Best Tricks: I go fetch my leash and try to take myself for a walk. I also like to play soccer with my human family.
Arrival Story: I am a little confused as to how this happened. You see, my mom and dad used to be my grandparents, and my new human brother and sisters used to be my uncle and aunts. I dont really mind, because I get to live with my new family and my old family visits alot and my new mom and dad spoil me rotten.(I even get to sleep with them!)
Bio: My new mom and dad wanted a small, quiet , friendly, intelligent dog and that is me to a T. I know when its time for my walk because my mom shuts off the little black box that she looks at after supper and I do my excited dance. Every once in a while I take a little fit that my dad calls a race. I run around the living room and bounce from chair to chair to couch. I guess its because I am soooo happy sometimes I can't contain myself. (My mom figures its the border collie coming out) . I have a border collie face, terrier body and a pom tail.. I love to stick my head in long grass and sniff cause I KNOW there is something in there. This computer thing must be quite fasinating because everyone in my human family is always on it, thats why I have my basket in here (but I only sleep in it during the day) its also how I found this website. Hope you will be my friend!
Mom brought me to the dog park today. At first we were alone on the big dog side, which I like. Then someone came in with a dog, so Mom leashed me up and was going to take me out. She asked the man if his dog was a puppy , and if she was a female. Yes to both. They let us meet and greet and I liked her! Mom never knows how I am going to react. I don't always like puppies, but this one was an older pup ( 10 months). They let us off our leashes and we had a blast playing chase. The man asked how old I was and when Mom told him, he said "Wow, really? He sure has a lot of energy." I wonder where Mom has heard that before? BOL
Saturday Dad came with me and Mom to the nature reserve! Since Dad was driving, Mom sat in the back with me. I was much less anxious with her in the back with me. I was not happy when Dad stopped to pet a puppy on our walk. How dare he! Mom worked with me a bit on my manners but it was a little trickier with Dad there, so she didn't work as hard with me. I kind of lost it there a bit when Dad was petting that puppy. I don't like puppies and Dad petting one was kind of adding insult to injury. Oh well, I had fun exploring the trails with Mom and Dad just the same.
We went to the nature reserve again today. Mom gave me cheese and kibble on the way there. We did the whole coastal trail this time. Mom kept stopping to try and take pictures of me and her. She says that selfies with a dog are hard to do. I just wanted to keep exploring! On the way back to the entrance people and dogs were coming and going , so we did some look , click , treat work. I did really good!
