Arrival Story:
My husband surprised me by letting me get a dog for valentines day last year. We picked her out from her litter - she was such a cute tiny pup. We got her in the middle of winter - what fun! The breeder told me that if she slept in the bed with us she wouldn't cry in the night. She's slept in the bed with us since the day we got her. She's a smart puppy - when she's ready to get up in the morning, she knows to wake up dad...not mom. She's the most friendly pup - they call her happy puppy at doggie day care! She travels really well - we took her on her first extended road trip from Saskatchewan to BC and she thought this was pretty cool.
Bio:
When I was young, the dog next door was named Riley. He moved away and we eventually got a dog of our own - a terrier/chiuaua mix...and we named him Riley. Riley II had to be put down at an early age due to a degenerative disk in his back. We got another dog a apricot poodle - and named him Brandon - brandy lived a long life, but sadly he passed away on February 13th, 2003. Exactly one year later my husband bought Riley for me. I wanted to call her Roger....but when I met her and discovered her personality I knew she was a Riley. She's the best companion ever!
