Arrival Story:
My son worked for a riding stable as a summer job for two years. They had 3 dogs there. He fell in love with all of them. After that we had to get one ourselves. We had dogs before, but not since we moved to another country. We researched almost a year before we found Biko's breeder. We loved GS's but the white ones are especially beautiful. She was one out of 11 puppies. There were 2 females left for us to pick. It was hard to decide; we took her, because the other one seemed to be a little timid.

Bio:
Biko is spayed. She is very much my sons dog. She sleeps in his bedroom and she listens to him best. Otherwise, she's a independent dog. She does what she wants to do, when she wants to do it. She had another operation on her front leg (big wood splinter) and she has to take medication twice a day for a bladder problem, which she had since she was 4 month old. Not even the vet knows why, since she was spayed at 6 month of age. She's very good at taking it though. From April to the end of September she's almost constantly wet, because she likes to swim so much. She's a water baby but during that time she's a real Stinky! She loves her brother and they are never apart, except during the night. She found a nest of wild rapids in our garden once. She dug them out, but didn't know what else to do with them. She chases everything moving in our backyard, especially chipmonks. Biko had back surgery in February 2008. She recovered nicely.
