Bio: I lived in San Jose, California most of my life, with my mommy's mom, Suzanne after my mommy moved to Massachusetts in 2002. Suzanne sadly passed away in February 2006, and I was put on a scary flying machine to Massachusetts to live with my mommy again!! Forums Motto: Corgi rocket, go! Something strange happened at my house this month. My mommy's mom, who I was living with vanished suddenly without a trace and then my roomate, Hugo, that old cattledog I didn't like too much and my old meow-pal, Kiku went away too!!
Also, this man, Jason, my mommy's brother, showed up and was really busy doing things with grandma and papers in the house. Eventually, he took me to the vet several times and then loaded me up into a kennel and took me to this strange, noisy place with lots of new people and scary sounds!
They put me in some big car thing that flew! I was in there for a long time and finally ended up in another noisy strange place where they carried me out to see... MY MOMMY!! I hadn't seen her in a very long time (3 years, just about), so I was happy to see her! She loaded me into a car and took me home, comforting me with soft words the whole way.
We got to this new house where she lived and went for a long walk around the cul-de-sac, despite it being 2am.
The day after, she gave me a bath, which I sorely needed. I hadn't had one in several months and I got a good long brushing as well. It felt really nice, although I do hate baths. They scare me, but it's worth it... sometimes!
So now, I still wonder what happened to everyone at the old house, but I am happy to be back with my mommy, safe and secure with lots of food, water, num-nums and attention! There's even a couple of kitties here!! But... they don't like me too much. Maybe they'll warm up to me someday.
