Arrival Story:
Luna (formerly Fiona or by her professional moniker Stalwart's Moonlight Lady) was a breeding and show dog who lived at the breeder's country home with a murder of fellow scotties as well as tangle of wire hair daschunds. Life being one of many, many dogs and spendin most of her time alone in a crate wasn't for Luna. She wanted something more. Something better. She got that and then some. She's the top dog of the roost and loved immensely. She was plump with puppies when we first met her and learned that she was about to be retired to a family home - what blessed good fortune for us! She has grown to tolerate us quite well.

Luna is a confident (esp. with other dogs), adventurous lass out in the world (well, except for loud noises) and a sassy, loving girl at home. Life's always sweeter with a dog in it!

Howdy. Yip, that's what they brought me back. Alas, I did have a swell time at 4 paws flop house where I hung with my new pack. There was even another scottie - Licorish, a 1.5 year old boy. I was happy to see food guy and food lady. We drove off and had a great walk then we were back to our usual life, which I kinda like.

This weekend has been warm and we've gone to the dog park 2 times and a good hike at nose hill (plus bonus walk after!).

Now it's supper time and I must bid you adieu.

Holy Biscotti!

I've been blessed again at the Blessing of the Animals cerimony earlier this month at the Church of the Redeemer (Anglicans no less!). It was great fun as I went with food lady, food guy and his pup Ashley. I saw and smelled lots of dogs, saw a big cat and was on tv. I was blessed (I was veklempt!) and didn't poop in church. All in all a most marvelous and wonderous day!

We just got back recently from a long trip and saw so many places including mountains, water, new houses, people and dogs and had lots of fun. We were in the car a LOT but stopped many, many times so I saw & sniffed lots of neat things. I met Mosby, a fellow Scottie in Vancouver. I had many great swims and dips in rivers, lakes and the ocean plus hunted for critters, chased birds and splashed about on the sand during low tide and went out almost to a big ship. I got to sleep on the bed with my people all the time but alas, they haven't carried this tradition on when we came home. Phooey!

We also went to a place called the Enchanted Forest and I got to ride in a boat and chase chipmunks. I also saw my cousins Groover and Dom and quickly whipped them both into shape. I had such a wonderful time and I hope we head out to see everyone again!

Ciao bella!
Luna B.
