When she was younger it was around the block or Silver Comet Trail but as she got older it was out to the mailbox & bathroom.
Best Tricks:
It used to be sit up and shake but I can't anymore. My best trick now is standing up to eat or walking out to the bathroom.
Arrival Story:
I got her when she was 6 months old. The people who had her worked all day. When they came home from work the tiny bathroom she was shut in all day long was always torn up and messy. They got really mad at her. They were going to take her to the pound. I got her so she would always have someone around. She just doesn't want to be by herself.
Bio:
Tootsie was 16 years old Jan 28th. She had arthritis, congestive heart failure, kidney failure, a brain lesion and siezures. Tootsie went to Rainbow Bridge Monday Feb 21, o5. She had to be put to sleep. She just couldn't make it any longer. Her legs just wouldn't hold her anymore and she was in so much pain. Now she can chase all the rabbits & squirrels she wants.

I went to Rainbow bridge Feb 21, 05. I felt real bad that weekend. I was in so much pain I wasn't comfortable anywhere I was or any position and when I did make it outside I really didn't know where I was. I wouldn't even walk around my yard. I couldn't stand up. I knew my time was soon. I got so many treats that weekend. I even got alot of people food. My little boy was here that weekend so before he went home I got a really big hug & kiss from him. My mom made up her mind it was time to let me go. We called the vet first thing Monday. Stitch went with me and her & mom was by my side when I went to heaven. It was so peaceful. I miss everyone & I know everyone misses me. It took my mom a while to write this for me because she has been so upset and had a hard time talking about it.

I made it another year. 16 years old!!! Friday was my birthday. Thursday I got a bath & groom. Friday I was tired. I just layed around until supper time. I got rice mixed with my food and a greenie for desert. Saturday wasn't very good because we got an ice storm and I can't walk on the ice. But all together it was a good weekend.

Well I made it through the holidays. It was hard. I am really slowing down. But I still got to go to Grandmas in Indiana. I loved hanging out all day with Mom & even Stitch. It was a long week but it was nice to see everyone again. I liked the cold weather. I can breathe easier. I loved the snow but not the ice. I fell quite a few times. My back end won't hold me up when my feet slide. By the time we got back I could hardly walk by my self. I have been resting alot since I got home. I was glad to get back.
