county show - 30th May 2005

Today we went to the Northumberland County Show at Corbridge. Mummy was hoping to see some Shetland ponies but there were none at the show at all. It was a very poor turnout ponywise with only about 3 entries in each mountain and moorland class. In one driving class there was only one entry! I saw lots and lots of other dogs including two yorkies. Mummy got fed up with people pointing and laughing at my t.shirt but I don't care because I love to wear my clothes and I know that I look sooooo cute. Daddy likes tractors and we saw lots of them. Both humans were very pleased because I wasn't scared of the horses or very big cows that I saw. I was very tired and on the way home I slept on mum's lap.

a walk in the woods - Sunday 29th May 2005

Today my humans took me to Chopwell Woods which is near Rowlands Gill. There are some different walks and we did the red route which takes about two hours. I saw other dogs being walked by their humans including two border terriers who were friendly. Some ponies were ridden right past me and I was very good and didn't bark at them. It was a lovely sunny day today and we really enjoyed our walk in the woods.
