Me and my brother Scout went up north for christmas! I was soooo happy when Mommy put me in the car with all our toys and food. I love to go for car rides but that sure was a long one. It didn’t bother Scout because he says he has done lots of long rides with them. Before we went up north, we went to Grandma and Grandpa’s house and got toys and foods. They even gave me and Scout some turkey, that poor bird! But yummm, it was so good.

Then while we were up north, there was lots of snow to play in and pee on. I love to mark up my winter wonderland. And Mommy and Dad took us for walks twice a day, yay! It was real cold too, below the 0 number on the round thing. Once when Dad took me and my brother, we didn’t have leashes. Cool! I took advantage of it and ran away… It was fun being on my own but I got cold and scared. I stayed in the backyard of the house I ran behind and Mommy came looking for me. When I saw Mommy, I jumped on her to say “here I am!!” Mommy wasn’t too happy with me. I thought it was fun what I did but I must have been bad. Daddy said to always stay with him and to come when he calls me. Mommy said no, that I must always be leashed! Drat!! So remember if your mom or dad leash you, they do it because they love you very, very much and don’t want you to be lost, cold or scared.
