Some guys came yesterday and put a new door on our house. This one has a hole in it! Our family keep trying to get Tobey and me to go through, but we are not so easily taken in. Well, Tobey is starting to go in and out. He thinks it's better than waiting for someone to notice him, but I'm not so sure...

Our friends Argus and Milo visited us for 4th of July. It was great! We met them at the Mt. Airy dog park on Saturday with our parents. We ran and ran and ran. We met a greyhound named Nellie and chased her. What a futile effort that was!
Then they came over to our house while our parents all went out to dinner. Max was the dogsitter for 4 dogs - 250 lbs of us. He thinks he will never do that again. He called our mom at the restaurant and asked her to come home soon. I don't know why our fun was not fun for him. He is a little odd. Milo and Argus left around 9:30 and I don't think Rosie or I moved a muscle until the next morning!
They all came back for a cookout on Sunday. Everybody was still a bit tired from the big day before, so we were a little slow on the take when the hamburgers, chicken and sausages were being grilled. I don't think anyone managed to snag anything off the grill!
