Meeko's Life.

Awhile!

Normally I would let Meeko write in HIS diary, but he is currently sound asleep behind my computer chair(One of his favorite spots.). You would think with a nice soft pet bed over by the couch he would sleep in that, lol. Really the reason he sleeps behind me, instead of in his bed, is because he likes to be close to me when he sleeps. He sleeps with me at night and I'm sure that has something to do with it, but he's my little baby!

Meeko is going to be 3 years young in May! I just can't believe how quick the years are just passing me by. He makes everyday a sunny day and I know that sounds REALLY corny, but its true. I don't know what I'd be doing right now if I didn't have him (Probably still begging my father for a dog, lol.).

It was my father that needed the convincing to get another pup. My mother and I knew it was the right time for another. It had been 4 years sense we put our Bichion Frise, Buttons, down. He was 16 years old and had a happy and fulfilling life. When my parents made the decision to put him down, it was really hard on both of them, but even more so on my father because that was his buddy. So that was really the main reason he didn't want another dog, because he didn't want to go through that hard time again. Which I understood because it was hard on the whole fam, but I missed that companionship.

So 4 years later, a trip to a breeder about 30 minutes away, and a lot of tears(from me) later(My dad hates when I cry, so it only took one more phone call from my mother and for her to tell him I was really upset.); we have Meeko! And now Meeko and my dad are inseperable. As soon as my dad walks in the door from work, Meeko is ready and waiting with a toy in his mouth. He loves to play, more so with my dad than anybody else... So I'm sure my dad feels the same way when I say...Our house wouldn't be the same without him!

I really never meant for this entry to be slightly sappy, but I just let my fingers do the talking... I'm going to be updating a lot more and so will Meeko, when he isn't asleep, lol! So until next time pup pals!

My Birthday!!

Today is my birthday and I'm 1 year younge!! My mommy got me some of my favorite peanut bones, a Wiggly-Giggly bone that makes sounds when I move it, and a new gold ID tag! I'm going to have a birthday party with my doggy friends in June, when the weather gets a little warmer. But tonight, my mommy is making me my favorite dinner, PORKCHOPS!! I'm gonna go play with my new toy now..Bye!
