Balls, rocks, attention, treats, attention, running in the park, attention and tummy rubs. It that fails, attention will do.
The vet lady, the vaccum cleaner and new noisy things, coming inside from the park.
Something that once was a halloween jack-o-lantern, a yellow frisbee, a tiger that once had stuffing in it, a basketball and his official stick.
Pizza and anything his mommy may like.
Walk??? Running like a madman in the park is more like it.
He knows the basics and then some... Come, Sit, Lay Down, Quiet, Paw, Fetch, Bark, and his best: Ignore Mommy!
Lennon arrived when he was 2 months old as a "birthday present" from my wife. Truth is she was the one who wanted a dog so we decided to get one... If we knew what we were getting into we would have tought it twice, but we wouldn't change him for the world.
She was some dog-phobic, so I was afraid that we may have to return him if they didn't get along, but it ended up as love at first sight, now my wife and him are the best pals. He's the best theraphist ever!
Lennon loves to dig up rocks and then bark at them because they do not bounce like his favorite balls, loves running in the park like a madman until he cannot take it any more, the comes inside and lays down on the floor like an old rug.
He's all cute and lovable, when he's feeling like he needs a hug he will go and lean on you so he can get his hug and tummy rub, then falls asleep next to you... And in the morning we have a wonderful licking alarm clock that never fails to go off as soon as the sun rises.
living with a hyperactive wet nose that is always happy to see you has been great and I would not change him for anything. Seeing my wife happy playing with him reminds me how lucky I am for having such a nice family.
Lennon had an accident on April 2004 where he hurt is right shoulder when he slammed against a park bench. His shoulder bones broke and he had to be immobilized for 4 weeks to allow his bones to heal, and he was limping for some time. Fortunately, because all the excercise he gets from running like crazy, our vet lady said that he was going to be in excellent shape. We were afraid he was not going to be able to run anymore because the wound was very bad, but after the weeks went by, he got better and better and he could run faster and longer. Today, he runs around the park like he used to before the accident, and we can't really tell he was in bad shape 2 months ago. Thanks to all the people who sent get well messages to Lennon!!
Why walk when you can run???
