Saltines, but anything will do (and I mean ANYTHING...including fruits and vegetables and gum off the street)

where she can chase rabbits and lizards

professional cuddling, getting into anything where there might be food
Arrival Story:
I rescued her from someone who had left her tied up outside for three years and bred her. She was very nervous and needy, and now she is confident and has found her sense of humor.
Bio:
Kira has one of the sweetest and kindest personalities of any dog that I have known. When I first got her, she did not know how to play and spent much of her time sitting still. Now she runs around with toys in her mouth and has developed a little bit of a mischievious streak which I love. She is also a trained therapy dog. She will stand for hours with someone's hand resting on her head, which makes her a hit at nursing homes.
Eating is her greatest joy, and she spends a good deal of her day scouring the kitchen floor and licking the outside of the refridgerator. Keeping her weight down is a struggle.

I am really trying to watch my waistline, but it's so hard. I had some not so great diet dog food this morning for breakfast. Luckily, before I fainted from hunger, I managed to find two peas under the refridgerator, and a plateful of toast crumbs left on the table, and I think that there was even a little butter on them. I am continuing my mission to find food because I am STARVING! Seriously, look at my picture, I am wasting away to nothing. No one ever feeds me. Okay, maybe that is not entirely true, I do get to eat sometimes, but I would give my tail away for some steak and popcorn and cheese. Any takers? At this point, I would even eat a diet cookie.
