Riding in the car... and food... lots of food! And tummy rubs... those are my favorite!!! And my couch... I LOVE my couch - sometimes I even let Mommy and Daddy sit on it with me.

Vacuum, rest stops, when Mom and Dad are eating and they don't give me any food!

Favorite Toy:
The Pluto toy Mom and Dad brought me from Disney and my Nylabone - I'm on #3... Mom and Dad are so mean, they keep taking them away just when I get them nice and worn in!

Favorite Food:
Anything that isn't my dog food! Especially treats from Grampy and Grandmommy.

Favorite Walk:
Somewhere quiet and familiar.

Best Tricks:
"Gimmie-ten", high five, catching snowballs, waiting with food on my nose (that's REALLY hard for me!), paw, speak (we just learned that!), dancing in the kitchen with Mommy, and um.. sleeping... I'm really good at that!

Arrival Story:
We did a lot of breed research and decided on a Bullmastiff. We were looking on petfinder.com one day and stumbled upon a rescue (Morningstar Rescue) in South Carolina that had her whole litter! We contacted them... and once accepted took a trip down to South Carolina to pick out our new puppy - they were about four months old at the time. We got there and held back for a while to watch the puppies... she ended up picking us! We just fell in love at first sight and she has been our baby-girl ever since! The author Patricia Cornwell actually rescued Maci and her litterâ€¦ It is a cute but long story.

Bio:
Maci has been training at Greenbelt Dog Training since April 2004â€¦. She was actually the valedictorian of her graduating puppy class! We are so proud! And she is continuing her education there â€“ training in obedience and agility (sheâ€™s a little slow but she has a great time!). Maci is also currently in the application process to become a Therapy dog for Pets on Wheels. She brings so much joy into our lives, and so much love! We know that she will really brighten the days of others!
