Arrival Story:
I first saw Heineken at the Lodi Animal Shelter and it was love at first site. I got up at 4 o'clock in the morning to make sure Heineken got a home with me!!! I waited in the parking lot until adoption hours began at 12. It was worth it! When Heineken came home she was so small she could fit behind the fridge. She had also cought kennel cough at the animal shelter so she was very sick. Once she started getting better there was no stopping her! When I first brought her home I named her Tinkerbelle. My friends didn't let that last very long! At the time I was in school, I lived with a bunch of friends and some of my guy friends thought it was funny to give her beer. So Tinkerbelle became Heineken, and Heineken became my best friend!

A Day at the Park : W.O.O.F. 5k Walk for My Offleash Freedom

Saturday was a big day for me! Me and Mommy dragged ourselves out of bed early (for once). We went and met Mommy Becky at the Elk Grove Dog Park to go on the 5k walk! Mommy Becky brought her dogs Sadie and Hannah so it was just us girls. Afterwords Mommy and Mommy Becky brought us home to Mommy Becky's house in Placerville! We had lots of fun playing there and I got to torment Sadie and Hannah (they are old Brittany Spaniels). That night Mommy and Mommy Becky made margaritas and stayed up late talking on the back porch about their boyfriends while I was pooped and passed out early. Saturday was a good day.
