Arrival Story:
I got Zoso at 4 months old from the Central Missouri Humane Society. He is unfortunately needing to be rehomed to an active single dog family.

Bio:
Zoso is 4 year old male neutered Belgian Malinois/German shepherd cross. He is a beautiful red fawn color with a black mask and he weighs 60 lbs. He needs an active home as the only dog. Zoso has been trained in agility (would be a great first agility dog ready to trial with a little more work and training), tracking, carting, and ran the Schutzhund AD, so he is trained to run next to a bike. He has the AKC Canine Good Citizen certification, passed the Dog Scout test and the American Temperament Testing Society test. He knows sit, down, stay, high five, come to heel, heel, leave it, recall off leash at a distance, and just about all of the basic agility cues for the obstacles. He is hip dysplasia free (hip x-rays available on request) and has had the best veterinary care (I'm a vet student). He needs a strong leader, but has a soft temperament and does best with positive reinforcement. He loves kids. Not sure about cats, but he does fine with caged pets. He will be adopted as a house dog only with personal references, vet references, and a home visit. Rehoming fee applies, though it will be negotiable if someone is willing to train (and hopefully trial) him in agility.
