Arrival Story:
"Split" is the grandson of Chalott. He is a very special dog in the family! Chalott, was Angela's sidekick (before children) from 1980 to 1993. Asland, was one of Chalott's pups, and the mother of "Split"! He is the last generation of Chalott's bloodline!
When Split was born we called him, Redman! At about ten weeks we started calling him, Face! At about five months of age, he became "Split"...and it stuck!! If you look at his face you will know why!.............................. .................................. .......................... I have been called Split for ten years now...and all of a sudden my name is Dogster Rules!
Bio:
He is old and blind totally in one eye, and partially blind in the other eye! Not quite sure about his hearing! I think he definitely has selective hearing!! He hears what he wants to! He has his days when he's as spunky as a young pup, and there are days when he moves real slow! Lately...he has been doing things he shouldn't! Like rushing cars when they come in the driveway! He try's to herd them into the corral! That may have consequences...he may lose his freedom in the yard!

Our good and loving friend, Kristi, made my nose light up so that Santa could find us Christmas Eve!! It is also snowing now!! Boy...We sure feel the goodness of the season!!! Happy Holidays!!! Dogster Rules!

WOW!! Today I got a letter (from the Big Dog) telling me I am Dog Of The Week!!! Didn't I tell ya all that Molly Golightly knows what she's doin!!! Did I tell you that I am an arrogant ol' curmudgeon?! I'm really loveable though!
Now that I've got your attention!!! All you Standard Poodles listen up! Did I tell you about the time that I chewed down a tree?? Well you see there was this tree...it was big...I started at the bottom...it took days...days of sunny weather...lying in the shade...uh, what were we talking about??

Did I ever tell you about the time that I chewed a two by four right in half!!
I guess I was around three years old, and it just felt like the thing to do!
No teeth now to chew with, but I'm still quite handsome, if I may say so myself! !!
Hey...I chewed down a eucalyptus tree too!
