Do you ever get over the loss?

It's been 7 years since Alba passed away... I still think about her almost every day. Sometimes I dream that she's alive and came over to play.
I wonder if it was beacuse she was my childhood dog and she made a very special impact on my life... But I guess every dog that we have during our lifetime is very special in their own way.

I also have come to a conclusion that there is no way you ever stop missing those who have crossed to the bridge. I also hope that the poem is true and that she really is waiting for me on the other side.
